The move by President William Samoei Ruto to sent his entire Cabinet packing is continuing to haunt him even as Kenyans continue to wait with abated breath the second batch of Cabinet which is yet to be made public. There have been speculations all over that the move may have been occasioned by a purported deal that hasn’t materialised between the President and some opposition bigwigs who were highly expected to join the government.

The move by the President to reinstate six of his Cabinet Secretaries has too been received with mixed reactions with a section warmly welcoming the move as the other totally and vehemently oppose the same. Among the reinstated individuals are : Kithure Kindiki, Aden Duale, Davis Chirchir, Soipan Tuya, Rebecca Miano and Alice Wahome.

Even as the President strives to bring a new face of Cabinet, he finds himself in a precarious state as pressure is mounting on him from from different quarters to either to this or that.

News reaching our desks have revealed that a section of women drawn from Nyandarua County in Mount Kenya region have threatened to strip naked should President Ruto fail to reinstate former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria back to the Cabinet.

The women led by Pierra Muthoni highlighted the achievements of Kuria and an impact he had in Nyandarua County especially on the youth as key driving factor and suitable ground for his reinstatement as a Cabinet Secretary.

They insisted that if some Cabinet Secretaries are to be retained, the same should apply to Moses Kuria failure to which they will make good their threat of striping and walking naked.
