Kenyans without formal education or Form 4 certificates can now exhale in relief, as Head of State His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto declared that coxswain positions will not be available at Fish landing sites across the country’s vast coastal region.

In a press release issued today, January 24, 2024, Head of State His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto disregarded a degree and four certificates as prerequisites for employment as coxswain at the eleven fish landing sites that will be built throughout the expansive coastal region.

The Kenyan government will provide free training to Kenyans who apply for jobs as coxswain at fish landing sites in the Coast region, according to information revealed by the country’s head of state, His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

But Head of State His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto revealed that applicants for the aforementioned positions must be mentally and physically healthy Kenyans.
