Kenya’s President Dr. William Samoei Ruto is currently in Mozambique for bilateral talks between the two states. In his address, President Ruto highly praised the people of Mozambique for doing away with the culture of violence before, during and after electoral processes in their country. He noted that peace is the only weapon that can act as a stimulus to a prosperous economy.
He also recommended that Africans must work to ensure that the continent embraces a democratic space that advocates only for a peaceful economic, social and political environment.
Dr. Ruto also commended the efforts made by former African Presidents who worked hard to ensure that citizens can interact with no limitations to their boundaries.
In his remarks about the general well being of Africa as a continent, President Ruto categorically stated that the government’s must work to ensure that enterprises and businesses are fully supported, more so encouraging the use of local currencies.
