The President of Botswana, His Excellency Dr Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi has left Gaborone for Kenya to attend an High Level event.
He will join list of African Head of States who have arrived in Kenya in the last two days. Remember Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali arrived on Tuesday Evening and is currently in the country. Similarly Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud landed today and was received by Gachagua
The Botswana’s President revealed on his social media account that he has left Botswana for Nairobi to attend the 6th United Nations Environment Assembly.
“His Excellency Dr Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi left Gaborone for Kenya this afternoon where he will participate at the 6th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly” Reads an update made on the President’s official social media account.
The President of Botswana is expected to attend and deliver Botswana’s statement at the high level event after which he will return to Gaborone on 2nd March 2024. He is being accompanied by Senior Government officials including the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Justice
