President William has made a stopover in his Kilgoris farm during his Easter Monday to check on the progress of his cattles.Ruto who boasts of being a farmer spared a few minutes to visit his dairy cattle in the 900 acre farm.Photos shared by Dennis Itumbi showed a calm President Ruto looking over the cattle.
While taking to social media, Itumbi captioned, The Leather Value Chain.President William Samoei Ruto relaxes with that in mind at his Kilgoris Farm.
Ruto was dressed in brown boots, blue jeans, brown cowboy hat, and a white shirt.
He has stocked hundreds of beef cattle on the ranch and has employed personnel to supervise the farm.
President Ruto has a farming background and a keen interest in agriculture, which have been a key part of his political career.
The head of state has several times reiterated his commitment to expand Kenya’s agricultural sector, to ensure that the country can produce enough food to meet its needs and reduce reliance on imports.
The President also plans to revamp Kenya’s leather value chain plan which will reduce the wastage of animal hides and skin.
