The fifth President of Kenya His Excellency William Ruto has cracked up mourners during a burial in Njoro after he has moved to reveal the dirty things that happen to women who engage in politics.
He has revealed that things are always hard for women in politics because of a lot of cases and unrest arise during political meetings.
The president has also narrated that sometimes women get carried up during political events and there is no such thing as following the correct protocol.
According to the president, most women who are in politics are mostly compelled to dress properly because of the nature of the events.
He was making these revelations while lauding the deceased for having a strong heart that made him to give freedom to his wife to participate in politics without him having to worry about anything.
“Sio wanaume wengi wakona courage ya kutosha kutoa mke wake aende apiganie mambo ya siasa. Nyinyi mnajua mambo ya siasa vile iko magumu. Huko kwa siasa ilo matata mingi, kesi, fujo nini, mara unaenda mkutano ingine watu wanakushika wanakubeba. Unajua hawa kina mama wakija kwa mkutano ya siasa lazima wavae vizuri kwa sababu huko kwa siasa iko kesi na maneno. Taratibu hakuna, you know there’s no proper protocol kwa siasa. So mwanaume hasa wa kutoka hii jamii kubalia bibi yake ati aende atangetange huko afanye hiyo mambo yote sio rahisi,” the president said.
