In the Lake Victoria Basin and the South Rift Valley, encompassing Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, and Narok counties, there will be morning rains coupled with afternoon and nighttime showers and thunderstorms in some areas.
For the Highlands West of the Rift Valley and the Central and North Rift Valley, covering Nandi, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Busia, Baringo, Nakuru, Trans-Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, and West Pokot counties, sunny intervals are anticipated during the day with partly cloudy nights.
The Highlands East of the Rift Valley, including Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, and Nairobi counties, are forecasted to experience morning cloudiness transitioning to sunny intervals.
However, some mountainous areas may see occasional afternoon showers, while nights are expected to remain partly cloudy.
In the South-eastern lowlands, comprising Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, Taita-Taveta, and parts of Tana River County, sunny intervals are likely during the day, with partly cloudy nights. Nevertheless, Kajiado and Taita-Taveta counties may experience occasional morning rains and afternoon showers.
Finally, the Coast, including Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, Kwale, and the coastal regions of Tana River County, will see showers throughout the day and night in some areas.
