A popular radio presenter at Radio Maisha, Victor Mulama, was reportedly attacked by unknown thugs and robbed of his belongings at his rural home in Kakamega County.

According to the sources, Mulama had gone to visit his ailing mother in their rural village in Kakamega when the thugs accosted him.

Reportedly, the thugs robbed him of his phone, money, and other items after inflicting injuries on his head and leg.

He was rushed by well-wishers to a local private hospital but later transferred to Kakamega County Hospital, where he is currently responding to treatment.

Victor Mulama hosts a morning show on Radio Maisha called Nuru Ya Lugha, which airs from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday.

Following the incident, his fans and supporters have flooded social media platforms, wishing him a quick recovery.

The matter has already been reported to the police station, and investigations are ongoing.
