For a whole month straight, most of the musicians in the country have been busy entertaining their fans who have been merry making in different joints in the country.
Among such musicians is the popular Ohangla musician Odongo Swagg who was fully booked during the now ended festive season. A sneak peek at his schedule for December indicated that he performed for almost 20 times; the last of them being at Waziri Club Rongo on the night of 1st January.
As would expected if any human being, the ‘Sumina’ Hitmaker and his crew must be exhausted after such a busy schedule.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Odongo Swagg thanked his loyal fans for the massive support they showed him by always turning up in their numbers at the different joints he performed at. He further announced that he will be taking the much needed break away from music this month and will be making an announcement of when he will return to live performance.
The Kisumu based musician enjoyed nationwide fame during the last electioneering period when most politicians used his hit songs; ‘nyasembo’ and Chwade gi nyundo’ as their campaign songs.
November last year, he released his much awaited album dubbed ‘Punda Ong’iyo gi Nindo’ which had 8 tracks including the now popular ‘Sumina,’ ‘Ahero Milly,’ ‘Nyogaya’ among others.
