Friday, the 12th of December, was indeed a special day for popular KBC Swahili news anchor Jamila Mbugua, who is the twin sister of Wanjiru Mbugua.
This is because on the day, she and her husband were officially celebrating 15 years since they got married; a milestone that confirmed that they had indeed opened a new chapter with regards to their marriage.
Being proud of the milestone, Jamila Mbugua and her husband celebrated it in style!
The lovebirds actually marked their 15th wedding anniversary by going on a romantic date at one local joint, where they had a time of their lives.
This was disclosed by Jamila Mbugua in a post that she made on her Instagram account, where she shared 3 photos that showed how the date went down.
The talented KBC news anchor then accompanied the photos with a caption of her gushing over the milestone.

From the post, it is clear that Jamila Mbugua and her husband did their wedding on the 12th of December, 2010.
In those 15 years that they have been a couple however, things have not always been smooth for them.
Like every other relationship out there, Jamila Mbugua and her husband have had their own fair share of ups and downs.
However they have managed to stick together despite all the challenges that they have faced.
