Popular Ohangla musician Ronnie Ochieng alias Papa T Wuonyarongo has announced quitting music industry to further his studies.

The “Hera Mondisore” hitmaker for reasons he has not made public has confirmed that his next stop is at Kisii University where he is going to further his studies.

Papa T is one of the youngest Ohangla musicians who have moved with speed to conquer the industry, having in mind that he is less than two years in the industry.

In several occasions, Ohangla music lovers have linked Papa T’s voice with that of King of Ohangla Price Indah, something that is said to have contributed hugely to his success.

Some of Papa T’s hits that have made him to hit the ground running include, Hera Mondisore(a beautiful love), Ranyisi Mar Hera(Evidence of Love), Attention, and Dhano Chalo Liudu that loosely translates to “Human beings possesses characteristics of a rainbow.”

“There’s a reason behind quitting music and further my studies to an extent. Kisii University am coming.” He wrote on his official Facebook account.

Papa’s decision has left most of his followers surprised, with majority of them now asking him to consider doing music alongside his studies at the University.
