Few minutes ago, famous politician Didmus Barasa shared a few pictures participating in community work and many congratulated him. In a long post, Barasa revealed that he was thrilled to be part of a program aimed at improving the living conditions of the community through the construction of durable and comfortable housing with iron sheet roofs.
He further stated that the initiative is designed to eliminate grass thatched roofs, which can be easily damaged by weather conditions and pose a risk to health and safety. By providing better housing, the project is expected to enhance property values, increase living standards and reduce the incidence of illness and injuries resulting from substandard housing. He further stated that the use of iron sheets for roofing will help to mitigate fire hazards that are common in areas with many grass thatched houses.
