We are two years away from another general election that will experience stiff competition especially the top seat in the country. Already Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP K party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Busia senator Okiya Omtata have declared that they will be challenging President William Ruto. Former interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i is also set to be on the ballot box for the presidential seat. In last election, Ruto used grabbed ‘hustlers’ to win the race, the group that he has now sidelined in his administration.

The emergence of Genz group in the country is set to give President Ruto a big nightmare for the next elections. This is according to political experts who claim Genz could play a big role in who becomes the next head of state. The candidate that could take an advantage of Genz and win their support could become the next president. With President Ruto not being Genz favourite at the moment, he could lose the race.
