National Police Service has finally issued a major update over an alleged siege with bandits in Baringo as previously claimed by mainstreaming media.
As relayed by a report covered on Capital FM news, police service has refuted claims of an ongoing shootout with bandits on a GSU camp.
According to their report, the place is clam and therefore kenyans should retaliate from any misleading information that might be a threat to national security.
“POLICE Service denies reports of an ongoing siege by bandits on a GSU camp in Baringo’s Kapindasum location; says area calm”, the report intimates.
This comes hours after reports went around that bandits have staged outside GSU camp in Baringo.
It should be noted that the Kenya Kwanza’s government via the interior ministry has been working to end unrest in northern parts of kenya and Lamu.
Led by interior cabinet secretary Kithuri Kindiki, the government deployed police officers in the named region literally after GSU officers died from terror attacks.
The government even listed names and pictures of the alleged Lamu terror masterminds who have been terrorizing kenyans.
On the other side, president William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government has suffered a major setback following the latest ruling by High Court.
As relayed, the high court extended interim orders baring the government from deploying policemen to Haiti following the petition that was filed by former presidential campaign Ekuru Aukot weeks ago.
