Police officers who have received invitation letters on the deployment to Haiti have broken their silence just hours that the United Nations (UN) Security Council approved Dr Ruto’ s request to send 1000 law enforcers to the war- torn Nation.
The officers now wants proper planning to be undertaken by President William Ruto’ s administration to ensure success of the mission.
The officers join millions of Kenyans including the civil right groups that want proper planning as President William Ruto’ s administration eyes $100 million from the United States of America (USA) to fund the operations.
This jitters come after the UN Security Council in its latest report conducted between January 1 to August 15 revealed that the deadly Haiti Gang has killed 2, 439 civilians, 902 are injured while the Whereabouts of 951 remains unknown.
However speaking four days ago (September 29) Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome publicly expressed confidence that the much- criticised Haiti peacekeeping mission will succeed to bring order in the violence- struck Caribbean nation.
