The National Police Service (NPS) has today broken silence with an evening powerful statement targeting all Kenyan citizens inhabiting varied local and regional destinations.

Addressing via a statement dated today the 13th day of December 2023, the National Police Service has banned all Kenyans citizens from selling donkey meat with immediate effect.

The National Police Service has intimated that sale of donkey meat has been outlawed in the country and that every Kenyan citizen who will be caught red-handed selling the meat will be apprehended and prosecuted.

The National Police Service (NPS) has further out on notice traders at the expansive Ndeiya area following the skyrocketing cases of sale of donkey meat which is currently being sold as beef.

The National Police Service has intimated that the ban comes after several Kilograms of donkey meat and carcasses where spotted at the imminent Ndeiya area, strategically placed at the heart of the expansive county of Kiambu.
