The National Police service has today broken silence with a powerful statement to Kenyans regarding wearing of face masks.

Addressing via a statement dated today the 26th day of February 2024, that Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome has banned all Kenyans caught red-handed in possession of drugs from wearing face mask when being taken to court.

Japheth Koome intimated that a myriad number of Kenyans caught in possession of drugs had mastered the heinous act of wearing face masks when being taken to court and during court sessions in order to bar the rest of country from identifying them.

The Inspector General of Police Japheth intimated that the ban, which takes effect immediately has been orchestrated with the solemn aim of ensuring that drug traffickers are exposed and brought to shame for their abnoxious deeds.

Japheth Koome further issued a four ultimatum for police officers based in Mombasa County to arrest all drug barons inhabiting the altruistic and exemplary county.

In addition, Japheth Koome notified the general public that those police officers who destroyed exhibit of poisonous illicit brew that killed 17 individuals at the altruistic and exemplary county of Kirinyaga a week ago have been sacked and that they have already been taken to court.
