On Sunday, she posted on her Facebook wall to bid her mother goodbye. The heartbroken journalist posted, “Go well mama, heaven has gained an angel 💔💔”
Several Kenyans including fellow journalists and former KFCB Chairperson Ezekiel Mutua flooded in her comment section to offer a message of condolences.
She then moved from RMS to Mediamax in 2018 to work at Milele FM. Later in 2020, the euphony-voiced presenter joined Radio Africa to work at Radio Jambo. But in 2021, it was reported that she left Radio Africa and began hosting her own show on social media dubbed ‘Sema na JG.”
Joyce Gituro has been known to be a staunch christian as he listeners never miss to hear the word of God. She evenly acquired the name Pastor Joyce Wa Gituro. May her mother rest in peace.
