Equity Bank is one of the best banks in East Africa. The bank has opened branches all over Kenya and outside East and Central Africa. The bank has been one of the longest-serving banks in Kenya with good cash flow.
The bank gained a lot of membership when it began to involve Kenyans with low incomes as beneficiaries of their programs. With its enormous growth, the bank began the project ‘Wings to Fly’ of giving scholarships to the needy children’s.
In the past few hours, kilileshwa Member of the County Assembly honorable Robert Alai has expressed his concern about the management of the bank. According to Alai, the bank is one of the good banks, but of late he thinks the management has an issue.
On his X space, the MCA asked the Equity Bank Management to address the issues of their staff serving customers while drunk. According to Alai, the most notorious case has been the Equity Thika Kenyatta branch.
“Many staff members drink till Saturday morning and serve clients on Saturdays and Mondays, smelling alcohol, and also I have also seen one too drunk to serve us.” Alai Added.
The MCA made it clear that he was typing his message on his page so that the bank could take caution and work on the problem before it got worse and cost their brand and name.
