Phyllis Mbuthia Explains How University Challenges Forced Her To Get Married.
If you are a fan of Kikuyu Gospel songs you might have come across this young and famous Kikuyu artist called Phyllis Mbuthia who is among the best and most talented Kikuyu female Gospel artists in Kenya.
Apart from being a famous Gospel artist, Phyllis is one of Kikuyu celebrities who commands a huge number of followers on all her social media platforms including on her YouTube channel which goes by her stage name Phyllis Mbuthia Official Channel.
In one of her interviews, Phyllis explained how university challenges forced her to get married. She was a student at Kenyatta University where she was doing a course in textile and interior designs.
She said that her family was not financially stable and her mother could hardly send her money, the maximum amount her mother could afford is 500 in a week or two. To cope with these challenges she decided to get married to her classmate called Steve who is still her husband.
The good thing is that they could gather little cash from their parents and sort of some challenges.
