Photos of a disabled female DJ playing the decks has touched hearts of many Kenyans. The photos have been shared by Citizen TV through their official Tweeter account. The Female DJ was hosted by Citizen TV Sports Journalist, Mike Okinyi in the usual World Cup Barn show which happens in the afternoon.
Kenya has been advocating for the inclusion of people living with disabilities in the society and the 2010 Constitution outlines that they should be part of the Government. The Kenyan Government has tried to offer employment opportunities to people living with disabilities as per the Constitution.
The female DJ referred to as “DJ Wiwa” can be seen using her legs to control the decks a move which has touched the hearts of many Kenyans. It is rare to see disabled people controlling the decks especially when its a female involved.
