Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen was recently spotted in France carrying a stylish luxury bag worth Ksh 75,716.This choice marks a notable shift from his usual preference for higher-value clothing and accessories.

Murkomen, known for his taste in high-end fashion, opted for this more moderately priced item during his visit, sparking conversation among observers.

The bag, though still luxurious, represents a more understated approach compared to his previous fashion statements.

This deviation has caught the attention of many, as Murkomen continues to make headlines not only for his political activities but also for his fashion choices.

During vetting, Youth Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen denied being opulent.

Opulent or being opulent means having goods, property, and money in abundance.Speaking before the vetting committee on Saturday, Murkomen said he does not even know what opulence means.

“I have never gloated anywhere about anything I wear, where I live or the car I drive,” Murkomen said.

Murkomen stated that he has never basked publicly in his wealth and was a victim of a crossfire of a conversation.

He claimed that he was asked on a radio show what the priciest shoe, tie, and watch he had ever owned were.From pricey shoes which he disclosed to have cost roughly Sh80,000 to a Sh50,000 belt and a Sh900,000 timepiece.

Taking to X hours after President William Ruto nominated him as CS again, Murkomen regretted his past actions while asking for forgiveness, at the same time promising to do better with the second chance that he has now seemingly been given, subject to Parliament’s approval.

He admitted past mistakes following a recent condemnation from the public over his opulence and display of flashy lifestyles, committing to be humble leader.
