Pauline Njoroge has alleged that the president is forcing his Kenya Kwanza’s MP to pass the Finance Bill 2023. She also disclosed that on Tuesday all the MP’s were given ksh100,000 each to lure them to vote in favor of the Bill that is vehemently opposed by Kenyans.
“Ruto and Gachagua are doing all manner of things to intimidate MPs within Kenya Kwanza Alliance, and force them to support the Finance Bill 2023. On Tuesday when they went to State House for the Parliamentary Grouping meeting, they were lectured like children then given ksh 100,000 each, which they were made to sign for”
Pauline went ahead and claimed that the MP who went back to her voters to collect their views on the Bill and to ask them whether she will vote in favor or against the Bill was lectured by the top leadership of Kenya Kwanza.
“One MP from Kiambu defied and went to her voters to get their views on the matter. Yesterday, she was called and lectured.
Pauline reminded the president that the Kenyans are the final say. She further said that the president will be unable to contain a revolution from the oppressed Kenyans who are finding life unbearable.
“Ruto can bribe MPs, intimidate them, lecture them and force them to vote for the bill. But he won’t be able to contain millions of Kenyans who will resist the oppression. The revolution shall be televised!”
