For more than one week now DCI homicide group has been in Kilifi county, Malindi constituency to exhume dead bodies which were buried by a cult leader Paul Mackenzie. It is said Mackenzie had asked his followers to fast to death and whoever died he buried them in his 800 acres of land.
So far more than 90 bodies have been exhumed as more than 300 people who were fasting were evacuated. This has also lead to pastor Ezekiel Odero arrest after his church in Kilifi county is also under investigation. It is said that there is a link between pastor Ezekiel and Pastor Mackenzie cults.
Wife to deputy president Rigathi Gachagua Dorcas Rigathi who has been at Pastor Ezekiel church and crusades several times has reacted on this. She said if Paul Mackenzie is a criminal he should be treated as an individual and even his family should not be involved.
