Tales by Ortis is an event that was started back in February 2020 with the aim of bringing together storytellers who have a passion for telling stories. Unlike stand-up comedy where the audience expects humour, the event is more about narrating real-life experiences that define who they are. This year’s event is themed Surviving Covid-19 and is aimed at reducing depression and trying to lessen the burden caused by the pandemic. A team of storytellers has been identified to ensure authenticity and a natural flow of delivery. The event goes down at Re-Bar, Marula in Karen tomorrow. Charges are Sh1,500.
