Oscar Sudi, a member of the ruling UDA party and MP for Kapseret, has responded to Edwin Sifuna’s recent remarks. Sifuna, who is the Secretary General of ODM and a respected lawyer said today on Citizen TV’s Daybreak that members of the ODM who joined Ruto’s Govt Did it Without The Party’s and Raila’s consent and therefore they don’t have blessings of the party.

Yesterday ODM members were nominated to join President William Ruto’s government as cabinet secretaries.Sifuna then stated that these members did not have the party’s approval and joined without consulting ODM leader Raila Odinga. He emphasized that their decision did not reflect the party’s stance.

In response, Sudi criticized Sifuna’s comments shortly after the interview. He has challenged Sifuna to use his constitutional rights and form an opposition if he disagrees with the actions of the ODM members who joined the government.
