Gunners welcome Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium tonight in a huge blow to Frank Lampard who hasn’t won any match since he was appointed as interim manager recently. Already five of the latest games have ended in a defeat under Lampard.
Now the Gunners have as well lost against Manchester City in a huge blow to their title race in a 4-1 scoreline last week. Which had followed up a three match draws against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton respectively in the Premier League.
Now with Saliba, Elneny and Tomiyasu all unavailable the red’s of London may face a tricky Chelsea side in a lighter squad. The blues are set to possibly welcome back Kai to the starting eleven as we assume the possible XI for Lampard.
In between the sticks we may see Kepa and the last line of the defence having Fofana, Silva, Chalobah and Chilwell. Midfield of Enzo Fernandez, Kante, Kovacic, Cesar and Chilwell in 3-5-2 kind of formation.
An attacking duo of Sterling and Kai could be picked to score as many goals as possible for the visitors. Which will see Mudryk, João Felix, Mount, Loftus-Cheek, Gallagher and Mendy all then starting from the bench. Predicted Chelsea XI (3-5-2): Kepa; Fofana, Silva, Chalobah; Azpilicueta, Enzo, Kante, Kovacic, Chilwell; Havertz, Sterling.
