Former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya on Monday told his cool in Siaya county while lecturing the Luo Community on what he termed as betraying their boss Raila Odinga when the Western Region is supporting him in his anti-government rallies.
Oparanya was reacting to latest move by a section of leaders who supported Raila’s presidential bid met with President William Ruto at Sate House and declared their plan to join the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
The ODM deputy party leader went on to criticize Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua for dragging the former President Uhuru Kenyatta in the challenges Kenyans are facing, saying that the duo should deliver and leave Uhuru alone.
“As Luhyas we are supporting Baba, the problem is you the Luos. You are now betraying him in his Siaya bedroom. We have three betrayers here in Siaya. When they were looking for votes they used to stay in Raial’s residence. They are now going to State House and lie to you that they are going for development.”
“Ruto, you cannot be using your time to meet with MPs when there are important issues to deal with in his country. Kibaki revived the economy within three months. You have been blaming Uhuru for everything, do you want him to come help you?”
