Accidents on highways have been on the rise in the recent past with the government uncertain what to do to mitigate this scourge that has plagued our nation.
Accidents are allegedly caused by non-compliance with the highway code and the unconsciousness of some drivers on the roads according to reports from the National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA.
This evening we have just received bad news that one person has been killed following a accident that involved two Prados.
According to the source, the accident occured at Lavington along James Gichuru road. The person who was killed was a cyclist who was on the road side.
Traffic police officers have reached on the scene and they are seeing taking comprehensive measures to reveal the cause of this accident.
This accident comes after another accident occured today morning in Machakos where a police vehicle collided with a bus and bursted into flames.
