Content creator Oga Obinna has confessed that he was not looking to have more kids before his baby mama removed her birth control without his knowledge.
Obinna revealed in 2025 that he discovered he had a fifth child through a third party after his baby mama, Tallie, hid her pregnancy from him. He narrated that the same day he was hosting Dem wa Facebook’s homecoming in Kitale, his daughter was being born in Kitale.
According to him, he decided to take care of the child and co-parent after discussing his responsibilities with Tallie. How did Oga Obinna get his fifth child? In an interview on his YouTube channel, he shared that he did not want to have any more kids, which was why he asked his then partner to be on birth control.
“I did not even know that baby existed. We had taken precautions not to have a baby. I found out about the baby when she had already been born and was already growing. And I just took charge, I was like this is not what I wanted, this is not what I discussed with you, this is not what I paid for but since the baby is here, the baby did not make any mistakes, I will step up. Where do I come in? Since then, I came in, and I am like, ‘That’s my baby’,” he said.
When asked how his baby mama was pregnant and he never got to see her, Obinna explained that she asked Tallie to get a birth control method that works for him, and he paid for it.
“We had a handbrake, and I thought we were cool. Once we indulge, you get pregnant, and I don’t know. We don’t work. You go your way, I go my way. One year later, I understand that you were pregnant, which is the whole thing that happened. I made peace with it. I have been reckless before; this time, I was not,” he added.
