It is bad news for William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza caucus as the Opposition Chief Principal Hon Raila Odinga and his Azimio la Umoja caucus pose a new demand to the William Ruto led KK administration.
The new demand made by Raila Odinga is set to be a tangible headache to William Ruto’s government. The ODM Party boss is set to continue with his antigovernment demos next week if Ruto reiterates on having bipartisan talks in Parliament.
The Opposition Chief has made a new demand to William Ruto concerning IEBC reforms.
Mr Odinga has asked the President to reconstitute the electoral body and formulate the IEBC body in devolved units. According to Raila Odinga, William Ruto should reconstitute the electoral body and have 47 IEBC different bodies in the 47 devolved units in the country.
The opposition leader has established that the IEBC body in the 47 devolved units should have different leaderships and the results at the devolved unit level will be final.
Odinga’s new demand has posed headache to William Ruto. However, Ruto has not spoken on the same matter.
