Obidan recently invited the elderly woman to his TikTok live, where she accused Baba Talisha of squandering KSh 8 million that was a fundraiser.
When the live stream went viral, netizens questioned the content creator’s interest in the matter, with some claiming that he was the lover of the late TikToker’s granny.
In an exclusive with TUKO.co.ke, the content creator laughed off the claims, saying that he was friends with Chira and only wanted to help his granny.
“No, we are helping that woman. We must help her. People wanted to take advantage of her. Her money was returned after the live stream, and that was the aim.”
Obidan said he did not understand why the money that was fundraiser was not given to Chira’s granny immediately after the burial.
“When you fundraise for someone, give them their money and just let them be. If you do not have ill intentions with the money, just give it to the person intended. What is the interest in trying to control everything and the person who made you and the family bond is gone?”
