Rapper Nyashinski on Saturday thanked his fans for the support.
He closed out the ‘Destination Africa Festival’ at Ngong Racecourse, where Nigerian superstar Adekunle Gold was scheduled to headline, and Kenyans were overjoyed.
Before taking to stage, Nyash said that was a win for all.
“Thank you for everything you have done for me. Having me headline the show. I was happy not for my ego but finally, this is an inspiration to any young person who wants to be big in the industry. This is not a win for me but for all of you.”

The Malaika hitmaker also clarified that he appreciates Adekunle Gold’s music.
Earlier on, he announced through Instagram that he was going to be the last act at the festival, but amid a recent online debate sparked by
Comedian Eric Omondi, about Kenyan artists merely curtain-raising for international artists, his fans doubted.
“For those asking, Gaance ndio anafunga show.”
Eric attended the show but he was blocked at the entrance but was let into the venue later when he said he came to support local artistes.
