A few minutes ago, the ex-Prime Minister, Raila Amollo Odinga, called off demonstrations across the country after receiving intelligence reports that several people have been reported dead due to his protests that occurred today.
According to the reports by a credible source, 3 people were shot to death by live bullets in Mlolongo, Machakos County. This happened when the police officers tried all means to stop protesters from further vandalizing Nairobi Expressway.
Furthermore, 2 persons have also been reported dead in Kitengela, Kajiado County. The two persons were also shot by the police officers while trying to restore law and order in the area.

The majority of the protesters today were rowdy especially after Kisii County showed them what hostile demonstrations are.
The residents of Nakuru County also pelted rocks on a police motorcade that was patrolling around the town to ensure peace is upheld during the demonstration.
