The Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) are Kenya’s national military force in charge of defending the country’s sovereignty as well as ensuring peace and security. KDF uses a variety of aircraft, including helicopters, in its operations for transportation, surveillance, and warfare. These helicopters play an important role in assisting ground forces and carrying out tasks in remote places. In addition, the government has sent many police officers to several parts of the country, notably Lamu and Garissa, to deal with terrorism situations. Unfortunately, some police officers have lost their lives after being attacked by the criminals.
According to the source, Kenyans have been left behind Mourning today after GSU officers who were on patrol lost their lives after their vehicle ran over an explosive in Garissa County. As per the latest updates shared by a well-known source this hour and at the same time circulating on social media, it has been revealed that the said police officers were on routine patrol when their lives were cut short by al Shabaab. Also, it has been revealed that several police officers who were in the said vehicle have been rushed to the hospital.
