Followers of Pastor Ezekiel Odero on Wednesday morning thronged the Newlife Prayer Centre Church Center to meet embattled Preacher as he teaches the benefits of Abrahamic Star and cross border services.
Televangelist Ezekiel Odero is still battling state to have his TV station World Evangelism TV reopened.
But the state has refused to open the preacher’s television and his channels.
The church was filled to capacity forcing other faithful to follow the preaching outside the church and along the streets of Kilifi.
When he was presented in court, Prosecutors said they have credible information linking the corpses exhumed at Shakahola to the deaths of several âinnocent and vulnerable followersâ from Oderoâs New Life Prayer Centre and Church.
According to court documents obtained by Citizen Digital, the preacher who is being investigated for the Shakahola Massacre claims that the decision to close down his TV station and church was made illegally and in violation of Article 47 of the Constitution as read in conjunction with Section 4 of the Fair Administrative Actions Act 2015.
Prosecutors have linked Odero and Mackenzie, saying in court documents that they share a âhistory of business investmentsâ including a television station used to pass âradicalised messagesâ to followers
Pastor Ezekiel’s Lawyer Cliff Ombeta says the preacher administered to over 10 million globally through the World Evangelism TV.
Ezekiel of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church in Kilifi was arrested over reported deaths at his church shortly after Mackenzie was detained.
