The National Transport and Safety Authority has finally broken silence on Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen directive on nationwide crackdown on illegal Public Service Vehicles.

Addressing via the X Social media platform, the National Transport and Safety Authority has underscored that it has it has today commenced a mega nationwide crackdown on all illegal Public Service Vehicles as directed by Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen.

The National Transport and Safety Authority shared photos on its official Twitter social media platform showing its officers in conjunction with the National Police Service undertaking inspection on four vehicles.

“Joint NTSA NPS road safety enforcement exercise kicks off across the Country, following a directive on illegal PSV’s by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Roads and Transport, Hon. Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen,” National Transport and Safety Authority stated.

It is essentially worth noting that the Transport Cabinet Secretary yesterday directed the National Transport and Safety Authority to conduct a nationwide crackdown on illegal Public Transport Vehicles.

The Transport Cabinet Secretary intimated that the crackdown was part of ongoing efforts to streamline operations and bring order and sanity to the public transport subsector.
