The bad manners Kenyans exhibit daily were discussed on Classic 105 after Nairobi County passed the Public Nuisance Bill 2021. Many called the rules and regulations timely because things are out of hand.
Blowing your nose without a handkerchief or tissue paper in Nairobi, will attract a fine of between Sh10,000 and Sh500,000 or an imprisonment term of between six to 12 months.
This also applies to when you are caught urinating in undesignated spaces, spitting on the streets, sleeping in kitchens or food stores, among other misdemeanours.
These rules are contained in the Nairobi City County Public Nuisance Bill, 2021 that has now been signed into law.nairobi_
