Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu is in the festive spirit abroad, spending time with her children. The politician shared photos of her and her eldest daughter playing in the cold weather abroad in Denmark.
On Monday, 23 December, Nyamu took to the photo-sharing app to share the heartwarming snap alongside her daughter in winter warmer wear; the little one putting on warm gloves, a sweater, earmuffs, and a beanie. In the two snaps, mother and daughter braved the freezing cold, smiling into the camera while looking jolly.
She posted the photo, captioned “Enjoying winter, cold a bit too much,” as one of many alongside images showing her with all three of her children against a backdrop of dazzling Christmas lights.
Another incident of her funny parenting she shared with them was her youngest daughter, Nimu, who refused to put on warm clothes. Nyamu says, “It takes patience to be Nimu’s mom. She won’t wear a hat or gloves, and it’s winter.”
The photos have melted the hearts of her followers as many praised Nyamu for spending quality time with her children during the festive season. The wintry escape showcases Nyamu’s ability to balance her high-demanding political career with motherhood.
