Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi cheered up Migori residents on Thursday after asking for a husband.
Mwangangi, who had accompanied Raila Odinga in a roadside rally said the ODM leader had told her she can find a man there.
“Lastly, Listen to me…while coming here with Baba he promised me that I can get a husband here. Nipatieni bwana (Give me a husband),” Mercy Mwangangi said living the crowd mesmerized.
After her comment attracted reactions online, the Health CAS took to her Instagram to give Kenyans another banter.
“We still working though and yes I told H.E Raila Odinga to get me a good husband from Nyanza ? kwani Sifai kupata mtu jameni,” she wrote.
The 35-year-old Health CAS came into the limelight last year during the daily Covid-19 briefing.
Then, Kenyan men on social media were head over heels for Mwangangi, who was arguably the new beauty in a government office.
In an interview with KTN’s Mercy Korir last year, the beautiful CAS said she is in a relationship.
“Like I said, I’m highly married to my work but I do have a partner who is very supportive and again another cheer leaders.”
