James Ng’ang’a of the Neno Evangelism Centre dumped money collected as an offering from his congregation during a ceremony.
In a video shared by Qare Jane on TikTok, the pastor is seen requesting to be handed the giving basket, and when it is brought to him, he stares at it with disgust.
Kenyans who saw the video expressed their disappointment, arguing that a man of God should not disparage church members’ hard-earned collections.
Kenyans were shocked after witnessing Neno Evangelism Centre founder pastor James Ng’ang’a disparage the offerings they had made during a service.
The irritated pastor had watched as the offering was collected, and when it was over, he received the money and pondered why it wasn’t as plentiful as he had hoped.
“Is this from a woman who plans to build an altar for her children?” You came all the way here to play circus games when I was around? “I’m the commander,” he added.
Kenyans React to Video: Nick Kipleting Chepkosiom: “When we go by the flesh, we reap the flesh!” We reap from the Spirit. God loves a cheerful giver, not one who is forced or compelled to give. Let us repent and turn to God, worshipping Him in truth and spirit!” 1
