In the middle of the continuing fighting in Beirut, Esther, a Kenyan employee, was left behind by her employer. After her boss and their family left the city without telling her, the Kenyan woman woke up alone.

Esther sobbed as she described her employer’s lack of concern for her safety in a widely shared TikTok video, expressing her grief and betrayal.

According to a Kenyan worker in Lebanon, her employer deserted her during the height of the country’s continuous conflicts.

The young woman, known only as Esther, whose video has gone viral, revealed that after her boss and the family left Beirut, she woke up to find herself alone in the house.

The obviously upset woman battled back tears in a video clip, expressing how terribly saddened she was to hear that her supervisor did not think she was secure and that she was not told where they were going to seek shelter.

Tearfully, Esther claimed that she was still processing the serious betrayal and had not had the fortitude to call her employer at the time of the TikTok video.

“I have not given them a call. I was tempted to attend this TikTok live after seeing your invitation. I don’t even have the strength to give them a call,” she remarked, sobbing. Still, ought I should give them a call?

She said, feeling deeply, “They didn’t even care about my safety. She disclosed that her employer had left her in Beirut after telling her she was secure, but he had left a few days later. She said, “They showed no concern for my life.”

After the heartbreaking video went viral, many people urged the woman to ask any of her fellow countrymen who were also stranded in Lebanon for assistance.

Some of the comments are as follows: “Nothing is going to happen to you, girl,” stated @Vicana. God is going to defend you. Naj said, “Hey guys, how do you sleep, that you barely hear what’s going on in the house? Watch out not to get lost.” Matayle said, “Please go to the Kenyan Embassy or go to the police.”
