John Johanes is a student at Bagara Secondary who went viral after he went missing during a school trip on September,14. He disappeared in a forest during the trip.The boy who went missing for 26 days has finally been found.
He narrated how he was able to survive without food in the forest. His family was so overjoyed to hear the good news that he had resurfaced after 26 days in the dangerous forest. Her dear mother, Gema Akaro was finally relieved after she got his son safe and alive. Her son’s disappearance really distressed her.
“I received a call from a parent coming out of his house. He said he saw my son coming from the forest. He took him in and gave him some porridge before rushing him to the hospital. He looked malnourished which is expected after many days of not eating well. He got lost during the school trip and was wandering , hoping to find his way back home,” she said.
Her son narrated his encounter in the forest. He revealed that he did not encounter many dangerous animals except snakes which he avoided whenever he saw them.
“I have been praying and fasting for 12 days since my son disappeared, and I give God all the glory for his kindness. It is God who brought him and we are grateful. We are happy that victory is ours. Despite my son being found with injuries on his body, looking malnourished and in tatters clothes, he is alive,” she said.
