One of the Embakassi fire incident victims has narrated the sad state of the casualties of yesterday’s night incident.
Speaking to Journalists, the victim said that many of the casualties have been hospitalised in various Hospitals in Nairobi County.
He stated that he was also in the Hospital before he requested the Doctor to allow him to leave in order to give room to other patients who had been seriously injured by the fire. He asserted that some people were seriously burnt and looked like naked chickens.
He told the journalists that he had to come back home to confirm the whereabouts of his relatives and other people after the fire incident that left 3 people dead and more than 300 injured.
“If you go to Kenyatta, Mama Lucy, or KU, you will find that people who have been injured are very many. I was also there (hospital) and I just told the Doctor to allow me to leave because those that I left there were burnt and looked like a naked chicken. I decided to come back to see whether my people are still there or some have been injured,” the Embakasi fire explosion victim narrated.
The victim went ahead and urged the Government to chip in and help those who were affected by the fire incident that happened late at night yesterday.
