Nikita Kering bags an AFRIMA award nomination

The 2021 AFRIMA nomination list was released yesterday and one of our own Nikita Kering, is part of the list.
After she released her album, we have seen nothing but growth in he career. Apple Music recently announced Nikita Kering as the latest featured artist in its Africa Rising artist development program.
Now she is an AFRIMA nominee. Taking to social media, she shared saying,
“I cannot describe the honor that it is to be listed amongst such Talents! ?thank you @afrimawards voting Begins soon! Let’s bring this home!!?❤”
Other Kenyans on the list include Bensoul and of course Sauti Sol.
Leading the 2021 AFRIMA nominations scorecard is South Africa’s sensation duo, Blaq Diamond with eight nominations for their song, ‘SummerYoMuthi’ in ‘Best Male Artiste in Southern Africa’; ‘Artiste of the Year in Africa’; ‘Song of the Year in Africa’; ‘Producer of the Year in Africa’; ‘Best Male Artiste in African Inspirational Music’; ‘Breakout Artiste of the Year’; ‘Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African Pop’; and ‘Best African Duo, Group or Band’.
