The country has been having a lot of challenges when it comes to access of certain commodities and facilities at the market. This is because of the unfair strategies devolved by various government insiders with the aim of generating profits from various commodities by hiking the prices. The market has for quite some time been controlled by cartels who use tricks to generate a lot from some items.
Speaking about the oil scandal, Moses Kuria said that cartels have been controlling the oil prices for quite some time and the government is resolving for imports to sort out this issue in style. Posting on Twitter after a long day of explaining to the Senate, Moses Kuria said this;
” Among the commodities that were approved by cabinet for importation, edible oils had the least amount, you wonder why it’s generating too much interest…… Ni cartels,” Moses Kuria posted on Twitter.
This tells it all how some rich people in this government are taking advantage of the poor to harass them and make life uncomfortable for them.
