The National Hospital Insurance Fund has today broken silence with a morning powerful message targeting all Kenyan citizens inhabiting varied local and regional destinations.

Addressing via a statement dated today the 19th day of October 2023, the National Hospital Insurance Fund has declared it a requirement for all Kenyan citizens to have a national identity card and a birth certificate in order to acquire amendment service of wrongly captured biometric details.

The National Hospital Insurance Fund has divulged that amendment services of wrongly captured biometrics will be served across all NHIF branches, calling upon all Kenyans in need of accessing the coveted service to troop in to any of the branches embodying the two mandatory requirement, that is, National identity card and a birth certificate.

Giving a glimpse of some of the biometric details which can be amended, the National Hospital Insurance Fund cited name of the contributor, gender and the year of birth.

“Your health, your details, swiftly correct any missteps! Visit any branch near you and carry; ID Copies/ Alien/ Certificate/ Passport. Birth Certificate/ Notification of Birth,” NHIF stated.
