As reported by source, Suna East Member of parliament Junet Mohamed says opposition leaders in the National Assembly will push for amendments in the Bill as from next week in third reading.

Speaking moments after Azimio MPs walked out of parliament when Cabinet secretary Njuguna Ndung’u was reading 2023 Government Budget, he revealed Azimio legislators walked out because they don’t believe in the budget.

2023 Finance Bill did pass at the National Assembly with about 176 MPs voted yes while 82 MPs opposed the Bill. Azimio la Umoja coalition leaders Raila Odinga, Wipers Kalonzo Musyoka, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua and Jeremiah Kioni demand the Bill to be rejected in totality.
