Following an upward trend in the fuel pricing plan for February, the cost of refilling cooking gas cylinders remains expensive in Kenya.
The cost of refilling cooking gas cylinders of 6 kg and 13 kg net weight has reportedly crossed the Ksh 2,000 and Ksh 3,000 marks, respectively, in the recently released pricing schedule. As a result, Kenyans will now have to dig even deeper into their wallets.
The newspaper states that a 6 kg cooking gas cylinder can now be filled for Ksh 2,000, while a 13 kg net weight cylinder costs Ksh 3,266.
Just today, Kenyans received this message as the new price of gas cylinders was revealed. In modern areas, more people use gas cylinders compared to jikos because the gas is faster and doesn’t affect the environment.
