A teenage couple was on Monday found dead in a house in Umoja after a macabre murder incident.
The man was identified as Eric Maina Njeri, 18 while his girlfriend was yet to be identified.
Preliminary findings show the two were stabbed multiple times and left to die in their house in Umoja Two.
The killers then ransacked the house and escaped with electronic goods as a way of distracting their motive, police said.
The womanās body was found with hands tied near the one bedroomed houseās toilet with stab wounds in the abdomen, neck, breasts and legs.
Witnesses said her intestines were out an indication the stabs were lethal and deep.
The manās body was found in the bedroom also with stab wounds in the neck and chest.
The bodies had been in the house for three days and were apparently discharging a disturbing smell, which raised the attention of the neighbours.
The witnesses said the bodies were decomposing. The house was locked from outside using a padlock, police said.
The manās brother told police he had failed to reach Maina through his mobile phone for three days since Saturday, November 6 prompting them to also look for him.

A caretaker at the house said Maina had relatives who live abroad and often sent his rent and other upkeep fees.
Buruburu police boss Francis Kamau said they were yet to establish the motive of the murder and those behind it.
āWe are investigating a pure murder where the bodies of a young man and his girlfriend were found with stab wounds in their house. No arrest so far,ā he said.
He added they had established the killers escaped with a television set, mobile phones and two laptops among other valuables from the house.
Police believe the move to steal the goods was out to distract the motive. Detectives from homicide visited the scene and documented it as part of the probe into the incident.
The bodies were moved to the mortuary. A postmortem was planned on the bodies to identify them and know how they died.
Police said they would then commence their investigations into the incident.
There has been a slight increase in homicide incidents in the country. Some remain unsolved while others have suspects in courts.
